How to play Tumble Duel

Keep your toy fighter balanced, time your punches, and beat a locally controlled bot rival.

Choose Start bout when you are ready. Hold the movement buttons to step left or right, tap Jump, hold Strike to punch, and hold Guard to defend.
Use A/D or Left/Right to move, W or Up to jump, J or Space to strike, S or Down to guard, and P to pause. Tab moves between controls; Enter or Space activates a focused button.
Use Pause to stop the bout and release all held actions. The demonstration explains the controls without changing your campaign progress.

Play 30 campaign levels against a bot running in your browser, not another online player. Later rivals react faster and put more pressure on your timing.
Each bout lasts up to 60 seconds. Empty the rival’s health to win early; otherwise the fighter with the higher percentage of health remaining at the bell wins. Equal percentages mean a draw.
Punches connect through physical contact. Guard reduces incoming frontal hits but uses stamina, so taking a step back can be better than defending continuously.
Campaign wins save stars, best scores and the next unlocked level on this device when storage is available. An unfinished saved bout resumes paused. Practice does not change campaign records or unlock levels.

Step close enough for your fist to reach, then strike. Punching from across the ring cannot hit your rival.
Watch the rival’s wind-up, use a short guard, then counter. Leave space to recover your balance and stamina between exchanges.
