Your car moves on its own. Hold just before a bend, then release as it points down the next straight.

Hold Space, → or D to turn right. Release to straighten. On a phone, hold the track or button. Enter on the button toggles steering. P pauses.

How to play Ribbon Racer

Guide your car around the ribbon track and complete the lap goal without leaving the road.

Choose Start race when you are ready. Hold the track or Drift button to turn clockwise; release it to travel straight while the car’s momentum settles. Tap-to-toggle steering lets you tap once to turn and again to straighten.
Hold Space, Right arrow or D to drift, and release the key to straighten. Use P to pause. Tab moves between controls; Enter on Drift toggles steering, while Enter or Space activates other focused buttons.
Use Pause to stop the race and release held input. Try the demonstration to see how a held turn and a released straight join together.

Play 30 courses across three difficulty tiers. Later courses become narrower and faster, demanding earlier turns and steadier releases.
The car accelerates automatically. Holding Drift steers right, but inertia keeps the car sliding briefly as its direction changes. There are no rival cars.
Follow the course clockwise and pass its checkpoints in order to complete each lap. Clear the lap goal to unlock the next level, or retry after driving off the road.
Campaign stars, best results and unlocked courses stay on this device when browser storage is available. An unfinished saved race resumes paused. Practice does not change campaign records or unlock courses.

Start the turn before the bend reaches the car. Release Drift as the car lines up with the next straight so its momentum has room to settle.
Use the track ahead to judge the next turn. A long hold makes a tight clockwise circle, so short, deliberate holds work better than keeping Drift pressed.
